The greatest strength of an engaged mind is also one of its greatest weaknesses. The energy, problem-solving creativity, and passion that drives us to effectively function so well in our day jobs can also lead to sleepless nights and distraction. Nagging problems that linger past 5 o’clock can cause us needless worries but extraneous contemplation outside of the workplace just may lead to a solution that wasn’t evident during daylight hours.

In this session, we polled a dozen or so association executives and team leaders and asked this same question - what keeps you up at night? The answers were surprising, and not necessarily all negative! Together, we will explore:

  • Are these thoughts opportunities, problems, or new ideas?
  • How do you confront or manage these thoughts?
  • What’s the best way to turn these thoughts into something valuable?
  • Can your unconscious mind show you the answer if you let it
