Leadership and Ethics -  Discuss the common triggers that lead good people to do bad things, and how leaders can create an environment where people know the right thing, and do it.   



Presenter:


Rose Almon-Martin

Rose Almon-Martin is the principal of x.l.erist, a consulting company that coaches individuals, teams, and organizations to achieve more with what they have. 

Formerly a Vice President of business excellence at Bayer Healthcare’s Medrad group, Rose has worked with for-profit and non-profit organizations, domestically and internationally.  Her broad management experience in operations, sales, operations, and acquisitions enables a broad understanding of how teams and departments work, and work together.  

Her accomplishments leading teams and organizations include 20 patents, and two Baldrige business excellence awards from Presidents Bush and Obama.

In addition to serving on hospital, foundation, and corporate boards, Rose is a founding member of the Keystone Alliance for Performance Excellence, Pennsylvania’s state quality award.  She currently chairs the quality and safety committee of UPMC’s Magee Women’s Hospital board.
