The Pittsburgh Society of Association Executives (PSAE) was founded in 1972 to provide an opportunity for exchange of experience and information through discussion and study at monthly meetings and conferences. The first meeting of PSAE took place in the fall of 1973.

PSAE continues to provide leadership training, guidance and unparalleled networking opportunities to executives who serve trade, technical, business, professional and philanthropic associations. Special membership categories for students and suppliers to the association community are also available.

PSAE is an allied society of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and is active in the programs of that organization.
