2012 PSAE Awards Nomination Form

The PSAE awards program is designed to publicly recognize members of the PSAE organization for professional achievement, service to PSAE and/or the association profession.  PSAE encourages you to consider fellow members who may meet the criteria of any of the awards listed below and submit your nomination on the nominations form.

Joe Gilbert Outstanding Association Executive Award

Purpose: This award recognizes an association executive who has demonstrated a commitment to leading the field of association management through active participation in PSAE and contribution to the Pittsburgh and Tri-State Area Association Community. 

·         Be an individual, not an organization or company

·         Have demonstrated the desire to positively influence the profession as a mentor or role model

·         Be a full active member of PSAE for at least three years

·         Have served as an advocate for positive growth and development of the profession

·         Have served in a management level capacity in an association for at least three consecutive years

·         Not be the current PSAE President.

Other considerations for nomination include:

·         Long time achievement in association management

·         Outstanding leadership

·         Professional achievement

·         Mentor or steward to colleagues or employees

·         Longevity (10 years) in the association management field

·         Excellence or accomplishments within the individual’s organization (awards, promotions, internal recognition programs)

·         Past participation or service in PSAE

·         Recognition by peers
